Modest growth expected for Pacific economies in 2011, says ADB

Latest Trade Statistics for Y/E JUNE 2010

The latest NZ Statistics for Y/E June 2010 have just been posted on the Statistics NZ website.  Three points to note :-
1. With Mineral Oils Imports from PNG now dropping from about $24.5 million last month Y/E, to "Nil" for Y/E June 2010, this not only reduces NZ's Imports from PNG to just $7,373,078  it also reduces NZ's total Imports from the 23x PIC's to $101.6 million.  This now means that NZ's Trade Ratio has gone up from 10 to 1 (to 12 to 1 for the Y/E June 2010).
